Girls with/getting convertible cribs...mobile related
What are you doing for a mobile?
DH & I registered for the Tiny Love Mobile & got it at my shower. Our furniture was delivered yesterday & the mobile will not fit bc the top rail is way too thick!!!! Now I have to return it & I am not sure if there is a mobile out there that works.
here is a picture of our crib to help

we have convertible cribs and the mobile attaches on the side, but I don't think the top is as thick as the one you posted. You might be able to rig it up with some zip ties or something like that.

I don't have much advice, but your crib is gorgeous!!!
We haven't gotten our furniture yet, and we went with the mobile that matches the bedding (same as yours). I never even thought about it not fitting! Yikes!

I had the same issue with our crib, so I have the mobile on the side, so when DD is on her back, it's behind her, but hangs over her (I hope I described that correctly!)
I don't have the tinylights one though, I have the Fisher Price Rainforest Mobile, but I think they both attach the same way.

Not sure what mobile you got, but the mobile I have you can either attach to the crib, or there is an attachment piece so you can attach it to the wall.

we had a tiny love and a similar crib with thick sides. Hardly anything attaches to it. we mangaged to get the tiny love on there for a while but the strap was very tight. well, the strap ended up breaking one day (luckily i had just taken DD out) and the replacement strap started to do the same thing. We don't have anything hanging from DD's crib. In a way it works out b/c there isn't a distraction or crutch for sleep. But, I know some people swear by them.

Same here. It still didn't feel completely stable since the mobile was very top heavy, but it did stay up.

we had the tiny love & had it attached to the side of our crib and it was just fine- maybe try that b/f you return it... no mobiles will fit on the top (mine is thick like that too)

i agree. we had ours on the side--we have the fisher price ocean wonders mobile and it fit fine

Thanks ladies....Does anyone have picutres of their mobile on the side? DH & I tried last night but even to put it on the side, there was no place to attach the top part of the "music box". So DH & I are thinking we will return it & just use the soother we got.

We had the exact same problem and it was so frustrating! We registered for the Tiny Love mobile and I loved it. No matter what we did though, we could not attach it to our convertible crib. We ended up returning it.
I researched it, and the Fisher Price precious planet mobile actually will fit on the lower part of the side rail. It attaches with an adjustable strap. That's the only one I found that will work. It's not exactly what I wanted, but my DS seems to like it.

We had to do the side as well...
more towards the front of the crib!
I struggled with the front bumpers too
