Girls with PCOS...AF question
How long do you go without one. I was averaging every 45-60 days, but now, it's going on 4 months. I think it's time I call my dr. for provera.

I just got AF last night and I haven't had it since March (with provera last natural cycle was in December)
Are you taking any other meds?

my natural cycles have lasted anywhere from 45 days (thats the short end) to over 90 (in which case i do provera).

I was lucky if I got AF 3x a year.. MAX.
If I ever went passed 4 months, I had to take Provera to bring it on. You don't want your lining to get too thick, so if you go more than 3-4 months, definitely let your doctor know.

Not taking any other meds. My last AF was March 20th, before that Feb. 3rd and before that 12/24. So it wasn't soo bad, unfortunately those were all anovulatory cycles. I get really big, painful cysts

Before I had DD, I got AF once after going off BCP, and then never again. I had to take Provera 4x a year to bring it on.
Not sure how my cycles have changes since I just had DS and am nursing, but it should be interesting to see, since I now apparently CAN ovulate on my own...

Before DD, 4+ months.
After she was born ( we had to go through IVF), I still hadn't gotten a period by the time we went back to the RE to TTC #2 (I was 6 months post partum, and didn't nurse).
