My dog ate one of our flashlights yesterday. I think she says eff this hurricane. 
I got cans of ravioli, beef stew, soup & vegggies. Also tuna and chicken in cans. I figure even if this storm does nothing, this stuff will last awhile in my basement and I won't need to run out in a panic for all the snowstorms over the winter!
I also got bottled water, enough for DH & I for a few days and charcoal & matches for the grill. I'm bfing so luckily I don't need much for my 11 week old dd, but I'm still worried about this storm, though I'm prob over reacting.

paper plates and plastic cups!!!
If the water is contaminated, there is no cleaning.

Fill your car up with gas
make sure your flash lights have batteries
crank radio
blankets
first aid kit
water
canned non-perishable goods
granola bars
pretzles
nuttella
bread
tuna fish
juice boxes
diapers for babies
formula
baby food

The pros mention filling up your bathtub with water. I think so that you can refill the tank to flush the toilet. But my tub will be filled with jungle juice.

I think the only thing I am going to grab is extra batteries and flashlights.
I have water, candles, food that doesn't need to be cooked etc.
