Gliders

Hello Girls!

I went today with my DH and bought the glider. It is by Dutailier. I just think that the cost was so much now that I think about it. The total came it 600 and that was with a coupon. Can you tell me what you paid for yours? We have three days if we want to cancel.

Thanks!

Re: Gliders

We bought one from Best Chairs at USA Baby and it was about $550 for ottoman and glider. Its the more traditional wood kind not a fully upholstered one.

Re: Gliders

we bought a rocker-recliner from la-z-boy because we thought it was so much more comfortable than any of the gliders and it was on sale for about $400 plus tax and delivery. we got a rocker style, but they also have gliders at la-z-boy

I don't remember the exact price but my Dutalier glider was at least $600 with the ottoman. I love it.

Re: Gliders

We got an upholstered glider from Buy Buy Baby but not an ottoman (which I'm wishing we had gotten, but we don't have the room right now) and the glider itself was $359 + tax.

The dutailier was my 2nd choice, if we didn't go for an upholstered one. Mine is by Best Chairs.

I bought a Dutalier one, that not only rocks, but reclines too. I also got the ottoman in a nice yellow upolserted fabric and I paid somewhere in teh range of $600-$700 total. Worth every penny to me. Chat Icon

Re: Gliders

Thanks for your responses ladies. I guess that is the going rate for the chair. I just looked and we saved over 100 by using the coupon. We also got the ottoman and a recliner with a lock on the chair. My husband wanted the recliner to be more comfortable. Let's hope he uses the chair!

Re: Gliders

My mom got us ours from BRU for around $150 and it was a total waste. I feel bad because we could've used the money for something else. We NEVER use the glider and ottoman. Chat Icon

Re: Gliders

I bought the Dutailer sold at Target and it is great! No issues a year later and you can't tell the difference between the $600 models at BRU. I really don't like the look of gliders and will never move it to my living room or anything, but for the purpose of the baby's room this one is great! $199
