Re: gluten free diet
Maybe FM Colesmom..I think her son is on a GF diet, but she doesn't come on a lot so probably won't see this.
Have you tried Beechnut cereal? My DD couldn't tolerate the soy in the other brands and Beechnut is soy free.

Yes, thank you. That is what we use because he broke out in hives when he tried the soy formula.

Re: gluten free diet
we are gluten free.
rice everything all the time.
brown rice pasta TJ's has a great gluten free english muffin...I use those for everything like pizza, pb sandwich, french toast
at times its a pain...but they become really really healthy eaters.
meat is fine veggies and fruit dairy...just wheat is the no no.
In grocery store, you can find gluten free pancake mix, cake mix, flour.
here's a sample: AM-milk yogurt GF waffles GF english muffin with PB GF cereal, puffins, gorilla munch banana
l-here's where you have to be creative if you are on the go... yogurt and applesauce we always pack if on the go. cold cuts apples with PB I cut up tomatos, cheese stick, and olives mix together, he loves it.
d- meat, veggie, rice sweet potatos french fries brown rice pasta and peas
you will see...instead of eating goldfish and pretzels...they will be eating fruit as snacks. I will pack a bag of cooked carrots and he eats it like candy.
good luck!

thank you sooo much! I just saw this. Did you get your son tested? Someone was telling me that instead of testing the child, the mother and father can be tested to see if they carry the gene?

Re: gluten free diet
I'm not quite sure what one has to do with the other, but I just got the Lakeside Collection catalogue and there is a cookbook in there for The ultimate Gluten Free, Casein free Diet", its an ADHD and Autism cook-book, but maybe it could give you some ideas ??
