Goat milk
I bought it.
Seemed like a good idea at the time.
Tell me it tastes good.

Re: Goat milk
I wish I could. DH & I bought a small one once, we thought it was a good idea too. I barely let it touch my lips (it's all mental) but couldnt do it. DH said it was okay but weird.

Re: Goat milk
Really?
I sucked it up and tried. I liked it...I remember as a kid in Italy drinking Parmalat and to me it kind of tasted like that.
Think you'll ever attempt to try it again?

Re: Goat milk
I grew up on raw goat milk. My mom would go to a farm to get it since it isn't legal in NYS. It is much easier to digest than cow's milk. DS drinks goat milk exclusively. It gets very expensive for the whole family to drink, so I don't drink it all the time.

I think you're right about it being a mental thing. When I was in Mexico, yrs. ago, my friend got me to try candy made with goat's milk, and I gotta tell ya, it was really delicious!!!!! Mary

I think so too! But I also hate whole milk because of the taste so it could be a consistency thing too.

Re: Goat milk
Goats milk is great if you have excema or have problems with cows milk. I gave my son goats milk formula when he was a baby...it was called Nannys Milk.

My mom always told me that "back in the day" when a mother was not able to BF - they gave the baby donkey's milk as it was the closest to human milk.

Re: Goat milk
I used to drink it as a baby, we had a neighbor that had a goat, so for the time she had it she would give my mom some of the milk.
But right now, I don't think I am brave enough to try it, like pp's said it is a mental thing.
