Godfather question
Other then brothers and brother in laws, who else have you "used" to be godfathers?
DH has 2 brothers, i have none. 1 brother is the godfather to DD and with 2 more on the way, we'll give one to the other brother, but I don't know who else to use
i have my sisters husband who is a super nice guy, but just not fun or comfortable around kids or talkative, he's kind of quiet and a little blah plus he's the godfather of my niece ( so i don't feel bad not picking him). DH has a few close friends from college, but none of whom would think of it has an "honor" they would just think it was cool (does that make sense?)

Re: Godfather question
Why can't you just double up on your BILs? A lot of people are godparents to multiple DC.

i was thinking that, my godfather who is my uncle is awesome, he's in his late 50s now, but that might be an option.

Re: Godfather question
If your BIL was the godfather, would your sister be the godmother? That might change the dynamics a bit.

no, she's already the godmother of my DD. The new godmothers would be my other 2 sisters who aren't married.

Then I agree...someone else you are close to...personally I say skip your BIL.
