Going back to work tommorrow, any tips?
I am going back to work tommorrow after my maternity leave. Fortunately, DS will be staying with my inlaws, and I will be able to do a lot of my work from home when I am not at the office/meeting with clients. Any tips though to make life easier when working F/T with a little one? TIA!!!!

A Few things that helped me and/or I wish I woould have done.
Bring a picture for the office.
Ask your in-laws to call you a few times a day to update of the day, (This will help prevent you calling and hearing your DC upset or crying in the background, that was heart-wrenching).
And ask your in-laws to not tell you on any new landmarks that your DC achieved. (First roll over, first smile, etc). So you don't feel you missed out, your DC will do it for you too.
Relax, your in-laws will be great, you are lucky to have family around!!!!

Those are good ideas! I think the hardest thing for me is going to be dealing with being so tired.........I have been up since around 4AM and didn't sleep that well last night to begin with....... DH actually told me last night I could be a SAHM if I want............but reminded me as well that I would need to find a way to pay for health insurance for the 3 of us then because that's one thing he's not going to be able to manage being self-employed! Oh well, I just remind myself that I am bringing in $$$ and keeping a good lifestyle to be able to give my DS things he will need/want!

I actually find that I am less tired when I work then when I am home with the kids. I think to me being home is more mentally & physically draining. I may be on the go from 5am until 9pm but I prefer that for now.
