Oh no! Is there anyway you can get another flight out?
As far as I know the "snow" isn't supposed to come until later in the day Christmas Eve, and I'm taking a very early flight, so I "should" be ok...i hope

We live far away from family and in the 3 Christmases we've lived away, we've never gone "home" to NY. The first one was AWFUL. My DD was 6 weeks old. I was so upset that we were here. Now we love being here. It's our first one in our house and we are so excited to have DD & her excitement all to ourselves. No family drama (there's ALWAYS some of that in NY.) We spend other holidays in NY and at other states where relatives live, but we have committed to always being here for Christmas. It's too hard to travel with DD especially with the possible delays, etc.
Try to have a Merry Christmas.

Thank you so much everyone.
They say things work out for the better and this could be one of those times. DH and I are both very sick with some sort of stomach bug and DD is very cranky so I'm guessing it's only a matter of time. I'm she's okay. I had the full blown stomach virus less than two months ago and she got a touch of it then so I really hope we're not in for this again.
