Going to Disney with a child that won't eat regular table food - Bringing your OWN food?
Anyone brought their own food if their child was not eating "regular" table food.... aka SUPER picky kid!
I am not talking milk and baby bottles.

What does he eat? Would he eat chicken nuggets and pizza? Because I think you can get plenty of that there...

josh eats regular food but it's still tricky and we never know what a place will have so we bring our own food in a soft cooler with ice packs just in case. i pack maybe his 2 easiest lunches and dinners and we give that to him 2 days each. breakfast we can eat out no problem. we always get a mini fridge wherever we go and a microwave if possible. if not the hotel usually has one somewhere for us to use. just call ahead.

NO..not even junk food. He will ONLY eat Gerber graduate todller/preschooler food trays. That's IT!!! He will eat yogurts though and apple sauce and icecream.
So it's not like I can't have him eat pizza, hotdogs, fries. He won't eat it.

Does he eat the ravilois too? Those can be served not heated
I think you can probably get a micro though, right?
ETA-I know it is a different situation, but maybe try some of that junk on vaca, Christopher will eat stuff on vaca he doesn't normally

Some of them have microwaves or at least there might be one in the hotel somewhere that you can use, but the problem might be during the day when you are at the parks....cause there might not be any place to heat them up. Does he eat anything else besides the gerber graduates?
I wonder if they have a microwave in the Baby Care Centers at the park. You might be able to pack a bunch of meals in your suitcase and check with the parks to see if you would have access to a microwave.

This is a concern for me too. I am hoping to take DS next year and if things don't change the kid will be eating applesauce and graham crackers all week.

I would just hit a Publix when you get there so you don't have to lug anything.

I would just buy stuff there. I know at disney they really are crazy about bringing food into parks I would check to make sure the graduates are ok to bring in.

I know you can since other families with kids with food allergies have told me they have brought food and once the workers heard it was a food allergy they didn't make them toss it out.

I will have a Dr.'s note that DS has special needs anyway. Maybe I will add the food issue too to the letter from the Ped too.

We did! I brought milk boxes, cereal bars, microwavable stuff like mac and cheese ravioli etc...also cereal bars and little boxes of cereal. There are microwaves in the food court...you can also share with them at buffets if need be...

We got hot tea water and used it in the bowl to warm up Landon's food.

Sophie I know when I went that I saw lots of parents feeding kids with baby food - granted that was for younger kids but I know that you can do it. They will not give you a problem if you bring meals for EJ they are very accommodating for food allergies and other issues that a child might have.
I know you said that he won't eat any table foods - but if there is something he will eat - like plain pasta with butter, plain steamed veggies etc you can get stuff like that too, But I'm sure they would let you bring in meals for him seeing as 1) he is under 2 and 2) he doesn't eat other foods.
I know Tran92 said her son would only eat yogurt and the servers went out and brought him anything that he wanted to eat when they went.

Re: Going to Disney with a child that won't eat regular table food - Bringing your OWN food?
Totally forgot!!!! Sophie - there are baby centers in each of the parks - they have changing tables in one room, a quiet room for feeding (high chairs small tables etc). They have microwaves!! I totally forgot about them.
They will let you in with food - b.c I brought Milk boxes and juice boxes and bottled water for Kaitlyn when we went. I also brought cheerios and other snacks like puffs etc for her to snack on and I never had a problem getting into the parks with them. They don't generally bother people with young kids.
