Re: Good age for taking a trip?
Like anything, every age has it's pros and cons. The younger they are, the more they are "transportable" but the older they are, the more they will enjoy it, but if they are too old, they might give attitude about things and have an opinion! With DS1, our best trip was when we went to Curacao with my parents when he was 3 months. He slept a lot but we also got to enjoy the days in the pool, walking around, etc. Then again, we just went to Florida and seeing everything through a toddler's eyes is absolutely priceless!

Re: Good age for taking a trip?
I've taken my 2 1/2 year old to Florida 3 times now and found it was easiest, the younger he was when it came to the actual traveling part. The less mobile the better. However, this year, he was more fun while we were there.
