Good, safe moderate priced crib?
Is there sucha thing? We really REALLY need to buy a crib with the baby due in 25 days!! I, however, really don't want to spend a fortune on one. Can anyone recommend a good, safe crib (and yes I have been reading Baby Bargains and it's making this process even harder for me) under $300 please??? THANK YOU!!!

BRU has a portable crib which is just a little bit smaller then the regular ones and just as safe, but also cheaper. We got that one due to space issues.

My crib was just under $300. It's mad ein Canada- my only requirement was that it not be made in China. Ha!
It took awhile to come in, though. I tried to find it on the BBB websites, but they have no cribs on their stupid new website.

Yeah I am totally frustrated with the BBB site - NO CRIBS to view online!!! Do you remember the brand by any chance?

Try JCPenney.com. Most of the cribs are under $400 with a huge selection between $200 and $300.

check out target and walmart.... since both sites have customer reviews, it's pretty easy to get a moderately priced sturdy crib for under $300 that others are happy with.......
I should also add ikea to that list..... the baby bargains book recommends their cribs and they are under $200

Target had this Simplicity crib that I really liked but it got a really bad grade in Baby Bargains but good reveiews online from parents. So I don't know what to do! It's only $250!

Be careful of shipping charges with JCP. They are outrageous!
Sears has a selection too. Shipping is much more reasonable.
