Good Samaritan Hospital in W. Islip?
Anyone giving birth here? DH and I just put and offer in on a house in W. Islip and it was accepted. If so I would probably deliver here. Any OB rec's in the area? I am so nervous to change obs 1/2 way thru my pg.

Hi, I will be in Nov.
My OB is two blocks west of the hospital. I go to Nassau/SUffolk OBGYN. I could not be any happier. Great doctors, and staff as well.

I delivered there in August, and I will be delivering there again in July.
If you search posts I'm sure you can find a lot of people's feelings on good sam.
My personal experience was great on the L&D floor. I wasn't so crazy about the maternity floor afterwards. I had some crappy nurses. I was trying to breastfeed and asked for help when I first got my DD and the nurse said "Didn't you read any books?"

I'll be giving birth there. My sister did also and she said she had a good experience!
My Dr. is great, Dr. Pillitteri on Deer Park Avenue.
Also, Dr. Salvatore Leo (head of the medical department at Good Sam) (and/or his daughter Dr. Aimee Leo) also on DPA

I just delivered there in March. My Dr. is right across the street in 1111 building. They are fantastic FM if you want the info....

I had my dd there 3 weeks ago and they are great!! She was in NICU for 5 days and the drs and nurses are amazing!!! Congrats and good luck!!!

I delivered there in Dec 2005 and had a great experience. My nurse during Labor was so calming and helpful and the nurses on the floor were okay, my nurse during the day was awesome. I am delivering there in august as well
I love my obgyn...Dr. Joseph Livoti Montauk Hwy in W. Islip.

Dr. Leo is awesome! He's been my GYN for years now and delivered both of my best friends children and is going to deliver the one she carrying now.
BTW, he was also highly regarded by my RE.

I'm delivering there also! I go to Dr. Egre & Dr. Klein in West Islip. They are literally across the street from Good Sam.
