Re: Good Sleeper Tips
For us consistency is key. We do the same naptime and bedtime and it works well for us. Miranda is a really great sleeper overall. She doesn't sleep anywhere but the car or her crib but I'm OK with that. Most of the time we're home for naptime and bedtime and if we're not she adapts well and gets right back on schedule the next day.

Re: Good Sleeper Tips
As far as the newborn stage went I just made sure that I made the late night feedings as unpleasant as possible..I didnt turn on any bright lights, kept the TV on low, didnt do a lot of cooing and cuddling, changed the diaper, fed the baby and went back to bed..All my girls caught on pretty quick..my eldest was sleeping 10pm-6am at 6 weeks..the twins took a bit longer but at least there wasnt much late night fussiness..
As they got older it was tougher to get them to sleep but once they were asleep that was it...
Its so hard to be tough on them but I found out pretty quick that I was a lot better of a Mom on a good night sleep.
