Good visit with Dr Dolisi last night
I went to see Dr. Dolisi last night. I moved up my 12w appointment b/c the m/s is making me so dysfunctional. We had a great visit & he told me some good news & some less than glimmering news.
1 - so far my placenta is waaaaaaay on top away from my cervix (Let's hope it stays that way!!!)
2- the baby is measuring perfectly and he sees no issues of restriction or need for bed rest this time so far (YAY!)
3- the baby is in plenty of fluid and active, which he said is a good sign.
The downside is that he is not thrilled about letting me try a vbac. Apparently the type of c-section I had to have for Baby G puts me at higher risk for uterine rupture if I try to deliver naturally. I am disappointed, as I always envisioned a natural birth, but after talking to him the risk is too great for me. He wanted to talk about scheduling a c-section, but I want to wait and see if they will let me go into labor & then deliver by c-section. I just do not want to pick my baby's birthday, KWIM?
AND...I made the appointment for my Level II....so hopefully we will find out the sex on October 14th!

good news!
Honestly, I don't think they'll let you wait to go into labor, they'd rather have it scheduled then have to be called in and risk anything happening.
PS- Dolisi delivered my DD via C-section at 2:30 in the morning, he's a bit of a grump at that time of night!

that's so exciting!!! only 2 months until you find out  or  !!! 
i think that really stinks about the vbac, but your health and your baby's health are the most important things

hmmm, I never thought of that. I have seen Dr Hanauer after a 12 hour non-stop delivery fest. She was pleasant but definitely not herself. Maybe I will let them schedule....
