Got my glider from Target...questions...

I am spending A LOT of money on a crib and changing table system from Pottery Barn, so I decided that instead of ordering the $1,000 glider I would try to cut some corners. I ordered a glider from Target that is really adorable. We just got it and set it up tonight. I guess I am comparing it to the really comfortable $1,000 glider/recliner from PB, but it just isn't that great....it is ok comfort-wise.

My question is...how much time will I be spending in this chair? I plan to breastfeed, but I may lay in bed sometimes to do that (does that work?). I am trying to decide whether to return the Target glider for a more expensive/comfortable one or just suck it up.

Here's a pic:

I really don't know. I think it looks cute, what makes it uncomfortable?

My friend has two of the same one and she loves them, but she didn't breastfeed (nor am I, but I am getting one).

Is it uncomfortable because of the cushions, like the could be broken in in a few months or just the chair in general?

And girl, you are WAY ahead of me, I haven't gotten ANYTHING yet!

I guess it's uncomfortable to me b/c it doesn't recline....I am pretty much just sitting straight up.

Oooooh, ok.

Well, maybe you should return it then and get something that reclines. I don't know about breastfeeding tho, do you have to be partially reclined? Or sitting upright.

Do gliders recline?

I would retun it. I tried several gliders at the stores (BBB and BRU) and some were so uncomfortable. I was trying to mimic a baby in my arm while breastfeeding (no comment!!) and realize I would not like it.

The more expensive versions do recline too.
