got some great advice
I posted this on Leslie's thread but I felt it needed a new one since it was so important.
This is from my smoking and drinking while pregnant three times buddy who told me that being in a room with a poinsettia would kill the baby because of toxins that float through the air, through me and directly to the baby.
DO NOT sit on a cold surface, you will shock the baby. It is VERY bad for you. The coldness will seep through my sweaty, overheated vagina, cervix, uterus, amniotic sac straight to the baby who will be SHOCKED by the sheer coldness of the metal chair and then who knows what could happen?!

Re: got some great advice
what are your responses to the idiocies that spew from this fools mouth? I'm just curious. Because I know me... and I so wouldn't be able to keep my mouth shut. I'd HAVE to say something sarcastic like "oh and what's your take on drinking and smoking while pregnant oh wise one?" I just can't contain myself! haha!!

According to my grandmother if you are "frightened" by a mouse while pregnant the baby will have a birthmark.
Also- sitting on cold stone will give you hemmorhoids. She shared THAT gem with me when I was 16 and sitting on our stoop talking to a boy.

My poor babies would have been shocked many times by now, if that were the case! It really is amazing what people will believe...and then pass on to others!

Re: got some great advice
Wow thank God poinsettias are out of season! One less way I can poison my baby. The mayonnaise news was alarming enough! I was told: Breathe more- I am breathing for two now Avoid bumpy car rides, the bumping motion will kill the baby. Avoid pork/ pork products, they are unclean animals & pork will surely kill the baby. Don't exercise at all & defiantly don't have sex. Gain double whatever your Dr. tells you since I'm "skinny" ugh it goes on...

Re: got some great advice
Oh my God I needed that laugh today! SHOCK the baby! LMAO
Also- did you know- on the flip side of that- that if you lay out in the sun too long you will COOK the baby? It's true...you will cook it like a Thanksgiving turkey. none of your other organs will cook- just the baby. So beware this summer ladies....
