Graco Snugride 30 or Chicco Keyfit 30
I got the chicco bc it is the easiest to install. But they are all pretty easy with the LATCH and they are both great seats

I registered for the Chicco but they both have great customer reviews and safety ratings. One of the reason we went with the Chicco is because its lighter than the Graco and supposedly very easy to install. I think fewer strollers are compatible with the Chicco, but ours is so that wasn't a problem for us.

I have the Graco Snugride 30...I had one with my dd and loved it. Plus I have a snap and go that accommodates it. I think they are pretty comparable.

I will suggest the regular snugride--it only goes up to 22 lbs but believe me, your DC will be out of it much sooner. My DD is 2 yrs old and only weighs 25 lbs. She was out of it by 8 months. The regular one is much lighter and easier to manage.

We got the Graco Snugride 30. We liked the safety features of it, and preferred the bigger sunshade (over the Chicco).
DH and my dad installed it in our car tonight, actually, and they said it was pretty straightforward. Try them both out in the store and see which model you like better.

This!! My DS is one and only 19 lbs and I moved him out at 4 months. It just got to be a pain to carry. I would never have lasted to 30 lbs. DS will be 21 by the time he hits 30lbs the way he is gaining weight!!!!
Eta- I have a few friends with either one of the 30 and it would not slide into many booths at restaurants. With the smaller snug ride we had no issue.

We went with Chicco for this reason and it has the highest safety rating. We love it so far.
