Graco Snugride or Peg Perego Viaggio
Help me choose an infant carrier!!! I'm getting the bugaboo and those are the only two carseats that are compatible. Originally I ordered the peg perego but I'm reading such great reviews on the snugride and a few not so great reviews on the perego that I may switch. Just comparing the quality of the two, I think the perego seems like a better seat, but I'm starting to doubt my own judgment. Any advice/experience will be greatly appreciated!
Thank you

I went with the snugride based on the reviews and recommendations from family/friends.
Have you checked each one out in person? Was there a difference in weight or ease of use? That would help me decide. Good Luck

I have a bugaboo frog and I am registered for the Graco snugride. It got really good reviews plus I also have a snap and go for my sister so if I don't feel like using the bugaboo frame I can use the snap 'n go. I like having options

Yes, the snugride is 3 pounds lighter and easier to use. The peg perego seems to have more padding and head padding, but I'm not sure if it is necessary.

I had the Peg Perego and it was soo heavy!! All my friends had the Graco and their babies always looked more comfortable in the Graco than my kids did in the Peg Perego. I

Re: Graco Snugride or Peg Perego Viaggio
I had the Peg and if it wasn't that my kids were 15 months apart I would have bought a snugride. I HATED the Peg. You couldn't clean the fabric at all and the material was terrible. My kids were always sweating in it. I thought it was just me but my SIL who had her DS in 2007 got one and she also hated it.
I would get the Graco or the Maxi- Cosi.

Re: Graco Snugride or Peg Perego Viaggio
Get the snugride! I almost went with the Peg Perego but decided it was just too heavy and didn't get good reviews. I have a Graco safe seat which is about 2-3 pounds heavier then the snugride and about 1lb lighter then the Peg Perego. All I can say is that seat is soo heavy and bulky. I wish I would of went with the snugride instead.

Re: Graco Snugride or Peg Perego Viaggio
We registered for a Snugride after reading many good reviews online & even in Baby Bargains. Plus all our family/friends have used them with no complaints.

I had the perego with my DS... It was a good seat, but really heavy. I'm not using it with #2, I'm going with the snugride.

We went with the snugride and got the snap and go portion for it, I heard great reviews. But we also bought the Peg Perego Stroller for our good stroller.

Re: Graco Snugride or Peg Perego Viaggio
I have the Peg. My only complaint is that it is really heavy. It was the only car seat I could find that had the SIP, and that was important to me. If there is a lighter, safe car seat with SIP, I would get that one.

Re: Graco Snugride or Peg Perego Viaggio
we went with the peg pereggo viaggio
it's got good safety ratings and lots of padding. it is a little heavy (not as heavy as I expected though, from reviews like this) but I could use some work on my biceps anyway

Re: Graco Snugride or Peg Perego Viaggio
I had both and hands down the Graco Snugride was much better. The weight & the handle contour make the Snugride much easier to manuver. As far as the Viaggio holding a bigger baby. It just got too heavy for me to carry so I switched out at about 6.5-7 months to my convertible. The same time I switched from my Snugride with my first child
ETA: I broke my Snugride when my 2nd was 4 months old so I borrowed my friends PP to get me through and couldn't wait to give it back....
