Graduation party food?

What kind of food should I have for a graduation party? It will be in the evening & I want to to be casual. Do I go with a hero & sides. DH does not want to BBQ so thats out. There will be about 25-30 people.

Re: Graduation party food?

That's probably your best bet.

Or, you could just do a bunch of apps and finger foods if it's after the traditional dinner hours.

Congrats btw!!!!

I think heros and salads sounds great. Maybe I would add a tray of ziti to have something hot or for anyone that doesn't do cold cuts.

ITA! One hot pasta dish to go with the subs and salads would be great and I feel like it would cover everyone. It is still casual and fits together.

Re: Graduation party food?

Will a lot of the guests be going to other graduation parties?

I remember when my brother graduated HS a few years ago, we went to a ton of parties - and they all had the same food - Italian and heros. He and his friends were so sick of them, so just something you might want to consider Chat Icon

My mom did Chinese and it was a big hit (and cheap!). Another option would be BBQ from a place like Smokin Al's.

Zorn's is another good inexpensive option - we have used them for parties before and they give you so much for the money!
