Thanks for bumping this. I have a follow up question. What does it mean if your kid hits milestone regularly, but late? I.e. if the checklist/book say 5-7 months but you kid does it at 8 or 9? Does that in itself indicate something?
Note: not for DD, she is hits things early, late and all over the place.
Bumping because I'm wondering if anyone knows the answer.
sorry I didn't see this - its fine if a child hits it a month or 2 later - its more significant if its many months later, but bear in mind that some kids may miss milestones and hit others on time - think of all the late crawlers on here who began just walking a week after they crawed, or the kids who are late talkers and then explode with language...
