Great Wolf Lodge

For those who have been there....did you like it. I was looking online and it looks like a lot of fun...

How many nights do you suggest going? Also, the website only seems to have suites to stay in. Do they have anything cheaper??

Re: Great Wolf Lodge

It's great there! We've always stayed for 2 nights. I can't see driving all the way to come back the next day. They only offer suites. Family suites are the cheapest. We stayed in a Wolf Den suite and it was cute with the bunk beds.

The food is awful though so I would bring your own or eat off property. Ham & Eggs in the Pan down the road from there is an AWESOME breakfast place.

I'm thinking of booking for New Years.

I'm going next weekend and will report back. We are staying in the Family Fireplace Suite (I think that's what it's called) and it's $250/night.

My friend went and really liked it. Her dd has a food allergy and she was really happy with how they handled it. They even took her on a tour of the kitchen to see where they prepare the special needs foods b/c she was so nervous about cross-contamination.

Re: Great Wolf Lodge

We went last year and it was awesome. We stayed in the family suite but we also took advantage of a mistake they made with a coupon code and stayed for $129/night. Jack was a little young for it but had a blast anyway. I think as he gets older and older, he'll enjoy it more and more. I just wish it was so much $$$$

I wish they made a mistake like that againChat Icon

eta: I did see people get larger suites where 2 families shared one and then it cuts the cost in half

Re: Great Wolf Lodge

we just went last week and my DS (2 1/2) loved it!! There was so much for him to do. i forget what type of room we had, but it had the little cabin with the bunk bed for DS. It was sooo worth it for us. We put him in there for sleep, but were still able to stay up with out really disturbing him. We only stayed for one night and that was plenty for us. Any more would have been overkill. We got there at 1:00 and spent the whole day at the waterpark, DS went trick or treating there at night, and then in the morning went back again before we left for the day. You can stay as long as you want the day you check out and they have showers, lockers, and changing rooms for you there. We live in NJ so it is only 2 hours away from us though. If you want to save money, I would suggest staying the second night at a nearby hotel so you would save $$ and still be able to spend the whole 2nd day at the waterpark if you wanted to.
