Well, the code is officially for tomorrow, but I got an email and called today. I already had reservations and they were able to reprice us with the lower rate. We are saving $100 for one night. The other night we will have to pay the normal rate because it is a weekend night. We did it last year and got in on the second day of the sale. They still had rooms available at the lowest rate then. I am not sure what will happen this time. As for it being a good deal, last year the lowest rate was 179 and this is 199. It is a little bit more, but the normal rate is 259, so it is some savings. If you have the kidsstuff coupon book then you can use that one, but they would not let me use both codes at the same time.
Also if you are going remember to tell them you want to add breakfast. If you do it in advance it is $10 per person 4 and over. If not it is 49 at the door.

To add to this, verrrry important.
The "R48HOUR" code is ONLY valid for repeat customers.
For first time visitors (as myself), the code to use is "48HOUR". Whereas you can get a room for $199 with the R48HOUR code, with the first time visitors 48HOUR code, the cost is $219. So it's only $20 more.
She said that people who are getting the R48HOUR code and using it to book online, all reservations are being reviewed to verify prior stays. If they do not see a prior stay for you, they will bump your pricing to current best rate which will be higher than the 48HOUR code prices.
Just wanted to throw that out there.
The dates I checked, I was able to get the $219 rate for check in on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. For check in that Thursday (in March) it would be $329! So we would definitely go earlier in the week.

The code SCOUT is cheaper than this sale...189 a night on weekdays. But obviously your child needs to be a girl/boy scout. You can bring their sash/patch/book, etc. as proof

ETA: I called the resort. They confirmed that they DID have cases of bedbugs, but they have treated the problem and their last case was 6 weeks ago. They said they use an exterminator that uses a kid friendly technique (not spraying chemicals). They close the affected room and rooms around it. Heat the room to 140 degrees to kill them (I do happen to know that 140 degrees is the correct temp to kill them). She stressed that it's really a worldwide epidemic at this point and many many hotels have encountered this issue. That it's not a Great Wolf issue, but that they have addressed it and they no longer have them.

We went in early November. Had NO bed bug issues.
I tried pricing them for next Fall again. $580 for 1 night. We paid $250 for the same date just a couple of month ago. There is NO WAY I would pay $580 for a day in the middle of the week in a November and out of any school vacation time frame.
