Great Wolf or Split Rock?
So DH and I want to take a mini-vacay and we were thinking of Great Wolf Lodge or Split Rock Resort.
Any thoughts on either place?
Sabrina is currently three years old, if that makes a difference.

Re: Great Wolf or Split Rock?
I don't recommend Split Rock. We went over the summer in 2007 and it was old, dilapidated, I felt like I was at the resort in Dirty Dancing! It was BEFORE thier water park though, so I am not sure how much it's changed.
Definitley Great Wolf.

We just went to Six glags great escape lodge in upstate NY and it was great. They have an indoor water park like great wolf but a lot less expensive. Here is the link Lodge

Re: Great Wolf or Split Rock?
My cousins just went to Great Wolf and HIGHLY recommended it for young kids. She also said the lifeguards were PHENOMENAL. The dont take their eyes off the water. She asked one of them a question and he didnt even make eye contact, let alone answer her. She was told they arent allowed to do anything other than take care of the water. VERY much a plus in my book.

Re: Great Wolf or Split Rock?
another indoor waqter park is COCO key and it was much more reasonably priced then great wolf. MY dd loved it when she was just over 2 1/2. We have been to both and I could not justify the higher price of great wolf
