I love both Opa and Athena, but my favorite is the Athenian Greek Taverna in Commack!

In Western Suffolk I have to agree with Athenian Greek Taverna. It's even worth dealing with the sometimes grumpy old man who runs it! I swear I could LIVE on their fried Pita bread and that sauce... to die for. The chicken is always sooo moist and the lamb gyro is PERFECTLY seasoned.
Great.. now I want Greek..

OMG yes! The pita and sauce can't be beat. They also have these keftedes (greek meatballs) Delicious. Love their avgolemono soup. Super lemony. Honestly I haven't ever had anything there that wasn't awesome.

Aegean is good.. but how close do you work? Mediterranean Cafe on the Bay Shore/Islip border (strip mall on corner of Montauk and Saxon) has FABULOUS Greek.

I work in Bohemia off Vets, right between Lakeland and Johnson. I could def. get to Saxon!
