Groin and inner thigh pain!
I am between 32 and 33 weeks here and I am suddenly feeling this excrutiating, jolting pain at the point where my groin and upper thigh meet. Oh my God, it comes on completely without warning when I am moving and actually makes me come off balance a little and give a little cry out. Then it goes away and I am left with a lingering ache. Plus my knee is starting to have a pain in it as well. It is mostly on my left side although my right leg feels like it to.
Is anyone else experiencing something similiar or have any idea what this may be? I have to call the doctor Monday, I actually got stuck in the middle of the street crossing because I couldn't walk through the pain at the moment.

It sounds like round ligament pain. I had that but much earlier. I think around 20 weeks? I don't remember. It was on my right side. Since last week at 27 weeks, i sporadically get a pain like that in my left groin area. I read it was more common on the right though
ETA: My SIL told me she did not have RL pain until she was around 31 weeks.

i get this too especially when i get out of bed, roll over in bed, or get up from sitting for too long. my OB told me it is round ligament pain. it sucks!!

Me too--especially when I'm getting out of bed. It's not really in my inner thigh, but definitely the groin area. I assume it's round ligament as well. I'm 32 1/2 weeks, too.

Yup, sounds like round ligament pain. DR. just told me it is what I am experiencing. Hurts so bad! I'm only 16 weeks, but I think it can happen in the 3rd trimester as well.

ugh this sucks royally. im afraid to move to quickly, but it happens even if I am moving slowly. is this something thats going to last the rest of pregnancy?

Oh yes!!! I've been feeling that since about 32 weeks, too. Def feels like I stepped off of a galloping horse!

I get this really really bad when pregnant ( as others have said it is its worst when roling over in bed)
Sleeping on my side with a pillow between my knees is the only thing that gave me any type of relief

Mine did not last through my pregnancy but i am only 28 weeks so it could come back i guess. We'll see. But it did go away after about 3 weeks, maybe a little less.

I started experiencing it around 32ish weeks as well. I read it's from baby starting to settle down further and getting into position.
