Gross Question re: Sperm vs EWCM
I know modesty goes out the window with this board...
So, how long can sperm or seminal fluid really, be like, errr, stored in you?
I had sex last night, and some of the fluid comes out of course after you go to the bathroom after sex. Just now I went the bathroom and looked down for whatever reason and there is a ton of this stuff (TMI) like hanging out.. I know, it's gross, I told you! This is actually how I happened to discover EWCM last month, on CD26 (I am now on CD25).
Oddly enough, I was peeing to take a digital OPK-- which I just bought at the store because I wanted to see if I got a positive because I got a ferning (which means fertile) on the saliva monitor yesterday.
So, was this EWCM or remnant sperm?
Oh, and digital OPK was negativo.
I just want to figure out what the hell day I ovulate!

To figure out the difference, fill a glass with water and put *it* in the water. If it dissolves, it was "remnents", if it kind of balls up and floats around, then it is EWCM.

as long as you still have EWCM - you are still fertile

It is gross what comes out when you pee!!
I am not sure how long they can actually live in the CM. I now that they did my post coital about 10 hours after bding and they were alive and kicking. It is weird they can live that long in our bodies.
