Group trip for adults
DH will celebrate our 10 year anniversary next fall. We have always said that we want to do a group, adults only trip to celebrate our anniversary with any friends who would like to join us. Our friends are all up for it and we certainly don't expect anyone to bend over backwards to attend. I want something with a direct flight because it would be a long weeked. I think with a decent sized group, all-inclusive is the way to go. I want people to know up front what its going to cost. I have to keep hurricane season in the back of my mind too. I want a nicer resort, preferably with some kind of nightlife, or a town close by so we can go out at night. DH and I went to Barbados two years ago and that is definitely an option, we really enjoyed it. Considering Antigua, Mexico and DR as well- though Mexico is on the bottom of my DH list. Can anyone suggest any specific resorts to look into? I would like to give people as close to a years notice as I can. So I want to make a decision and order Save the Dates in the next couple of months.

Of the places you listed, I've only been to DR- to Excellence Punta Cana, which was phenomenal! I'm just throwing it out there- Jamaica. We went in September for DH's 30th and it was the best vacation we've ever taken- the place was soooo laid back and wonderful. Though I wouldn't recommend going and looking for nightlife outside of the resort.

Jamaica is out for us. We have been three times and never really liked it. It may have been our resorts, but it left us with a bad taste and we have no interest in returning. But thanks anyway!
