Growth spurt, or not a good feeding schedule?
Sasha is a little over two weeks old, and I think the last few days she has been experiencing a growth spurt. She has gotten a little more fussy, and while we can calm her down-- she starts fussing again shortly after. She also seems like she wants to sleep a little less- and does not fall asleep as easily as before.
She also wants to eat more frequently, but does not necessarily eat for longer than normal at each time-- except for some occasional instances, like last night where she had a marathon eating session. I did try to switch her from an every 2 hour schedule, to an every 3 hour (except at night where we let her sleep), but I still feed her when she appears hungry, regardless of schedule. When she was eating every two hours-- she was always sleeping, didn't necessarily always eat well, and fell asleep in the middle of feedings.
Just trying to figure out what would work best, when she needs to eat-- or if she is having a temporary growth spurt.
Thanks!

sounds like a growth spurt to me - DS just had one. i could distract him for a few minutes but the soothing didn't work for long. once i fed him again, he was happy.
i know you want her to sleep longer but continue to feed her when she wants, the growth spurt won't last forever.
