guess i will join in on the vent train also..
i knew this week was goin to be rough..
like 7 months ago dh and i decided this week we would have the other room done over for the nursery
why this week lol..well dh is on vacation and the guys from his job who is doing the work also took this week off so they could get it done quick
we had already been trying for a year so 7 months ago it was like wel lof course we will be pregnant then
well this week is here..and every day i watch the work getting done saying to myself..i could be painting for a nursey next week or picking out decals...instead i have a new place for my dining room table
i just sat on the floor last night staring at the space and just got so depressed
i am so over this already..it just simply is not fair

Gina, I can totally relate. We moved to our house a year and a half ago and I just stare at our nursery which is currently used for storage of things we will never use 
Sometimes I feel like it would be easier if we moved to the house AFTER having a baby.. because seeing that room that should have a baby in it right now (my  should have been 8 months now) is just so depressing

I too can relate. Our house is too big for two people. Our neighbors (who do not know us at all) asked when we were going to fill it up with kids...Almost 2 years later and no kids.

I can somewhat relate...Ive been doing some sprucing up to our apt lately. The other day my mom said to me " why dont you do something with your bedroom? It's very Blah" .... Thanks mom, but I dont plan on doing anything with my bedroom until I am pregnant and know I am having a healthy baby. My bedroom will stay " blah" until I can renovate for our baby...

I can totally relate. Our "nursery" is filled with boxes of stuff that we need to go through or put in the attic. At this point, neither of us will touch any of it until there's a legitimate reason to. I have two bedrooms filled with stuff that should be filled with children.

If I had a dollar for every time I planned on doing something in advance figuring "for sure Ill be pg or have a baby by then..." Id be so friggin rich by now!!

so true! the "nursery" in our house is still the same shade of old lady pink the previous owner had painted it with her ugly, homemade drapes to match. I refuse to do anything to that room until I know who's going to live there. Right now it's home to a futon and all my IF contempt.
