Gymboree classes....Source Mall or Bayside?
I need help in choosing one. I took my 8 month old baby boy to the one at Source Mall and Bayside, both locations and signed up for the free class. I liked both. If anyone is taking their baby to Gymboree classes, which one are you going to? Any recommendations? Thank you!

I took DS to the Bayside one for 4 months and then to the Source mall for 3 classes. DH likes the Source and I like Bayside better. BUT I think we will choose the Source bc of convenience and class schedule. If you go with Bayside, make sure you read the contract! We got suckered into an extra month bc we didn't give proper notice of cancellation!
Fyi DS is 7 months so we were probably in the same class at the source lol.

I liked Source Mall bc when we were in a circle we discuss things such as what we're gonna d for the summer and we had to say or names and our childs name. But the Bayside location did not do that. Or maybe that one day I went to they didnt. Agape08 When you went to Bayside for 4 months they have you discuss things in a circle? Thanks! Sorry =(

Sorry to butt in with another question - how can you go to two free classes? Just because they are at different locations?
I am thinking of taking my DCs to the one in Bayside. I am within walking distance to it.

I think it all depends on the teacher, I am sure if you ask the locations if you can do another class with another instructor to see if you like it again they will let you (I know the Source was very relaxed and let me try a lot of different things) I think I tried the music class 2-3 times at different ages and stuff.
WE love the SOurce mall... but again, its all a matter of preference, I love the Source, but have a had a teach there that I LOVED, and some that were just EHhhhh so I just didn't go that day...

Yes we did that in Bayside, but I had him in Level 1 while we were there. We discussed favorite toys, favorite food, vacation plans, etc. It's funny bc I could do without that LOL. I would rather have more play time! LOL. I only did one level 2 class there and cannot remember if we did it during level 2.

Just be aware that the Source Mall is closing. Not sure of exactly when but the building has been bought out by a developer and they're putting more condos in place of it. I did ask when I was looking into a class there what would happen if/when they close and the woman told me that if the location does close before the class is over you can complete it at any of their other locations.

Oh WOW that is good to know!!!!!!!! I was wondering why all the stores closed down...it was really depressing when I walked around there last time...thought it was the economy! I guess the Source gymboree is out of the question then....ugh. That one had the best times!

I would still sign up for the one at the Source and if it closes while you're still there then transfer over to whatever one is second best for you. They're building a new complex literally down the road and a lot of the stores that were in the source are now going to that one (like Nordstrom Rack....THANK GOD! LOL) Once Fortunoff's closed the other stores couldn't sustain the cost any longer.

Where did you hear this? B.c I just don't believe it... Not saying you are wrong... but I just cannot fathom that they are going to Build a new mall to tear down an old one to build more rentals/condos whatever... when they are building more on Stewart Ave across the way... Where did you hear this?
Also... is everything going? Old Navy, Cheesecake, PF?
This surprises me, Im not saying its not true, I just cannot believe it...
ETA I know they are building the new place with Trader Joes... but just didn't hear about them tearing down this one... Who would want to live on Old Country Road down there... ya know?

Wow! I was also wondering why some of the stores were closed. Well that makes a huge difference in choosing the Source location! Thank for the info! Very helpful =)
