Had 3D/4D and kind of disappointed!
I posted a few months ago about a very generous gift of 3D/4d ultrasound from a friend of mine that I hadn't seen in h.s.
DH and I went last week after being soooo excited and the baby was not cooperating and was also being distorted by my anterior placenta. After being there an hour, they invited us to come back this week and try again.
I went back today and the baby was still not cooperating and was pressed up against the placenta  I will hand it to the ultrasound technician, she really tried her best and was very patient but I couldn't get many good images and the DVD is mostly of my placenta 
Here is one of the better pics...
The plus side is she looks healthy and I got to see and hear her heart beat two weeks in a row

I have anterior placenta too so I feel you about not getting the best sono pics!

My LO wasn't cooperating at my 3d/4d sono either. He keeps putting his hands in his face! We go back on Saturday. We only have one decent pic where you can see his face. But even if that's the best pic we get, I'm ok with it because we got to see him move around so much and really one good pic is all you need.

i have an ant placenta too and when we had our 4d sono, baby kept snuggling up into the placenta. but our tech was great -- she really tried her best to get baby to move. where did you go for your 4d?

thanks, ladies  I was very happy to see my little girl and it was so cute when she was chewing in her sleep 
I guess I just had such high expectations after watching youtube videos and seeing other pics of these sessions. Still, very cool to see the jellybean.
And I went to goldenview in the city on 5th ave. They were really great and so patient and nice and def nothing more they could've done. Would still recommend the place for ladies in the city
