Had a consultation with LI IVF - New studies

I had my consultation with LI IVF. I had success with RSONY 4 years ago but I didn't care for the staff so I wanted to see someone new.

I loved the staff at LI IVF. Everyone was really nice and accommodating. I did not feel like just another patient. Everyone from the receptionist, billing, nurse and the Doctor were great. I saw Dr. Kenigsberg and he was great. I was seen early and everything was efficient. Since I have already went through IVF and we have a diagnosis of Male Factor he said right away we do not need to do many tests or try IUI's, that we will go right to IVF.

He said a few things that were new to me.

He said that there are new studies that show better success with FET's. He said that not only is the pregnancy success rate better but the birth weights of a baby born using FET is higher then a fresh cycle.

He also said that they like to do FET's during your normal cycle. When you are about to ovulate on your own they will implant the embryo. Reason being is they give you less medication no estrogen just the progesterone. He said that your lining will automatically get thicker during your cycle and it has great success. I found that very interesting.

yes, interesting to hear, glad you found an office you like. Better off staying away from RsofNY, they are horrible an LIE to pt.
