Had my 12 wk appt and ultrascreen yesterday so I'M COMING OUT!!!!!!!
Hi ladies,
I wanted to wait to tell you all my real name until we had my 12 wk appt and told all our family and friends. Now that that's done, I can tell you that my real name is Alissa and though this was all my first time posting on here (so most of you won't even know me anyway), my sn on LIW was missliss. I was an 08er and NW. I'm so happy to get that all out! DH and weren't "trying" to get pregnant, but we weren't really being careful....we just got lucky and we're as happy as can be!
Now, to tell you about my 2 appts yesterday. They were amazing we were sooooo happy. I can't believe how much the baby grew. He was practically doing backflips in there. I told the tech that I had a frozen snickers bar on the way to the office and she said the baby must like ice cream.  He (I keep calling it he though I have no idea) was sitting cross-legged at one point and then did a full-out double leg kick and flipped over. It was nuts. We don't get our ultrascreen results until next week but based on whatever the neck measurement, my dr said that if it was worrisome, the dr would have had her come in right away and they just let us go, so I'm going to think positive! 
Unfortunately, we couldn't hear the heartbeat because he (there i go again) was just moving around too much. My dr. had the doppler on me forever that after awhile we just gave up. I'm ok with it though, just to see the baby looking so active made us so happy!!!!
I'm excited to actually start enjoying this pregnancy now. Up until now I've just been a stressball and so worried, now that I know we've made it this far, I feel so much better. Now if I could only get my skin to clear up I'd be in heaven!
I also want to thank all of you ladies for all the help and guidance you've all given me so far. Since I didn't tell anyone my news until yesterday, you were all I had to go to, and you were all wonderful, so thank you so much!!! Dh thanks you too, everytime I was worried about something he'd say, go ask "your girls".

Thanks Marie!! They were ridiculous. We've just gone through a rough summer in my family (my grandmother-the rock of my family- passed away a few weeks ago). So they were so thrilled to have some good news.

my girlfriend went and couldnt hear it either. I am not surprised= it took so long for the dr to find mine!
