DH and I were watching one yesterday where this woman didn't want stairs in the house. But her husband wanted a finished basement and she complained when the master suite was next to the kitchen in one house.

I can't stand the "where are all of your clothes going to go" jokes, they are SO cliche and in every.single.episode. Every time there is his and her closets or a walk-in, Im like "wait for it, wait for it, ah yes, there it is"

Oh and the paint colors, really, you'd write off a house bc of PAINT?

They forgot to mention the complaint about the small master bedroom, which is usually the size of my living room and dining room put together.

Also the complaint about the four bed, 3 bath, brand new house on a huge lot that is over budget because it is listed at $185,000.

I do agree w not being cool neighbors property being so close to the house you paid $25k to much for that they can see you do your magic in your crown molding master bedroom with purple painted walls & small closets.

Every time I watch one of those shows, I start to feel bad, like WTF are we doing wrong, and then am like, nothing..........most of these shows take place in the South.

I think the last marathon I caught was filmed in the Atlanta area.

This is funny!

They always complain about paint which is crazy! So easy to change! And about not having granite, not having stainless, not having something specific and random like pocket doors -- oh this house doesn't have pocket doors -- umm most houses don't, that's very specific -- but then they act like not having pocket doors is as weird as not having a front door or something

I love the beer budget but wanting crown moulding, stainless, five bedrooms, walk-in's, etc. I mean, I'm all about buying on a budget but you can't expect to get every single thing and all high-end.

It's funny when they are like 'our budget is $250,000' and the agent is like this home is listed at $255,000 and they are like oh nooooo that's over the budget and it's five grand lol and like you can't offer lower lol!!

I love how they have like 5k as a down payment, the sellers pay the closing costs, they dismiss the cutest houses for PAINT (like the easiest thing to change! In 2 hours, it can be fixed!) and these entitled brats want everything (open concept, en suite bath with toilet closet, granite, stainless, etc). Yet I still watch.

My hussband and i are house hunting in naussau county and scream at the tv! Then ask ourselves why we live here again? Lol

I always love how most of the people who are looking for a 'fixer-upper' end up buying move-in ready or even new construction! The realtor tells them, you can paint, etc to 'make it your own'.

I was watching Love it or List it over the weekend.

I LOVE how their houses need major renos but they turn their nose up at everything that is suggested and then do not have the $$$ to do what they want anyway.

Loved that they mentioned about entertaining for lots of guests. What are you running, a club? Who entertains 75 people every weekend?! Get over yourselves!!

The paint color/carpet comments make me so angry!!!!!!!!! They will be looking at a gorgeous house for 1/4 of what it would cost in our area and they dont want to buy it bc they dont like the paint
