This topic reminds me of when a restaurant at a local mall had a frog caper. Allegedly the frog left the pet store in the mall traveled out of the mall and into the resraruant in front of the mall. A customer alleges he found it in his burrito...to me that frog was probably napping from his long trip

OMG that is soooo gross!!! It has to be a photoshop job. Don't they make the salad in front of you, if it was real wouldn't the frog have hopped away LoL
regardless real or fake I eat those salads ALL the time and am very glad I am not at the current moment

That can't be real. How could a frog get into the salad? its not like a roach or a mouse... frogs need to be around water to live.

I'm just not sure how a restaraunt can develop a FROG problem in the middle of NYC????

I don't think it is real. Hale and Hearty salad ingredients are chopped pretty well, so there is no way there would be that huge red pepper in there.
I also got that sald bag picture a couple of months ago, but it had a different story attached to it.

It's not that unlikely for this to happen. But the frog would have come in with their lettuce shipment, not from an infestation in the restaurant.
I would have a problem with the fact that this clearly means that the lettuce wasn't washed.
But isn't your assistant crazy? She "knows" the "friend of a friend" this happened to? 
So I used ot work in food service, and we would get lizards in our lettuce shipments all the time.
ETA- WAIT- is that thing alive, and hopping around?
I take it back, that is nuts.
