Half side of face very red and swollen from teething??
I noticed DD's right side of her face was red yesterday and thought it was from DH not shaving and kissing her or something. Now this morning she woke up and it's bright red all the way up to her temples and slightly swollen. 
Has anyone ever experienced this? She is EBF and 5 1/2 months. TIA, I'm worried.

DH is a dentist and he said its doubtful that it is from teething

 I hope she gets better soon! I would call your peds and see what they say.
My peds told me if the gum is swollen then its teething, they didnt say anything about face.

Oh no Dana. DId you call the dr yet? Does it seem to bother her? I'd call the dr because you never know.

I called the doc but because it wasn't bothering much we decided to go in in the morning. She just woke up from her nap and it's so much better, just a little red area on the apple of her cheek. So strange! I noticed that she isn't "wiping" her face on the Boppy like she was this morning while nursing either.

DId you change laundry detergent or soap or lotion that you use? Could it be an allergic reaction to something she's laying on?

I thought the same thing. . . Is her cheek warm to the touch?
