We don't distinguish between half and full siblings, but do specify step-relationships.
Same here, except I do refer to my stepdad as my dad (my biological dad I call my "real dad" lol). Stepmom I refer to as my stepmother. And stepsiblings I refer to as stepbrother/stepsister.

My stepmother I call my stepmother. When referring to her and my dad I just say my parents. It's easier.
My stepdaughters I refer to as stepdaughters, but they refer to Cailen as their brother, and we refer to them as his sisters. Technically they are "half-siblings" but it makes no difference. They are siblings and they love each other.
I am not close to my stepsister, but I refer to her as my stepsister...

My stepparents have been in my life since I was 5/6 years old so I introducte them as Mom and Dad. My step & half siblings are brothers and sisters.
Of course, it's more complicated now since my dad and stepmom divorced and while she's still "mom", I introduce her new husband by his name.
If it comes up later, I might explain my complicated family dynamics. As far as introducing to someone new, I keep it simple. Heck, it took about 4 years for my best friend to figure my family out!

I introduce my "step" father as my father b/c he's the only one I've known.
I technically have 3 half siblings, but I don't believe in that. they are as equal in my heart as my one "full" sister. we are a family. period.
