Stay positive! Last weekend I had some brown spotting too (Only when I went to the bathroom).. I went to my 1st appointment last night and mentioned it to the dr. He said Brown blood is normal and old blood.
I was able to see the heartbeat and all. It may have been too early for your dr. to see anything.
