Hardwood Floor Installation?
We are buying our floors from a company that doesn't do installaton, so we have been trying to find quotes for the installation process.
I see all of these ads on Craigs List for $3.50 per sq ft. This guy that came by today said for EVERYTHING $14 per sq ft. BIG difference.
Are there things in that lower number that aren't being considered?
Whats the average rate for installation only?
ITs about 400 sq ft with about 12 stairs.
Help!!
<we already have our floors so we aren't considering empire or anyone like that>

We paid $1.75 per sq ft for installation. So it was ca. $1100 for 600 sq ft.

I'll FM you his information. That was the installation price. We got the wood separately.
