Hardwood Floor Refinishers

Does anyone have reccomendations for floor refinishers? Also what is the cost per square foot?

I am not sure of the cost per square foot off the top of my head. But we just had the floors done this weekend and they did an amazing job, and went above and beyond for us. We had some issues with our stairs once we ripped out the carpet and they fixed them and you would never be able to tell that something was wrong.

ultra floor refinishers in baldwin. 516-223-0828. they did our new house in port jeff sta and i love them. price per square foot depends on what you get... we got "2 day natural" which means it took them 2 days to do it, they sanded, did 1 coat of sealer and 2 coats of poly (we didn't stain another color, we just went with the natural look of the floors) which is 2.25 a square foot. but other things come into play, like if they are ripping up carpeting, installing saddles at the doorways, etc. we had our living room (224 sq ft) and dining room (116 sq ft) done, as well as our staircase and a small landing area where they had to lay new wood; 5 saddles installed; carpeting and staples taken up and cut throughout and it cost 1600. pics in my album.

We paid $1.35 per sq. ft. They did a great job and lots of other girls on here used them and also loved the results. They have a website. Good luck!
