Has anyone been told that they have a Single Umbiblical Artery? (Two vessel cord)
Had a genetic sonogram tonight and they were looking at the cord, and it appears that instead of 3 vessels (2 arteries and a vein), my baby's cord has only 2 vessels.
The doc said that they will not go much into detail with me about this, until the blood tests come back from the quad screening they tested me for today.
Looking up info online has me a little concerned -- but was wondering if anyone was told they had a SUA and how it worked out?

No experience, just wanted to send positive vibes your way.  
The internet can be a scary place. Try to fight the urge to google. It will only stress you out, and possibly for no reason.

Yes, definitely DO NOT GOOGLE. I would rather you drink a big glass of OJ than to google.
I have no experience but I'm sure someone else will. Maybe xpost to parenting to get some answers.

Yes We had this with DS. What I was told was that it can slow down growth and weight. We had tons of sonos to make sure he was growing ok needless to say he was 9lbs 4 oz at birth and was A OK.

I didn't want to google it but I was curious why they weren't giving me more info when both my DH and I asked what it meant.
