Has anyone ever brought a small dog on Southwest flight?
My mom called and they said she wasn't allowed. I know for a fact that at least on JetBlue I've seen dogs.
Thanks!

My MIL wants to bring a small dog Orlando to NY too. Does anyone know the answer?

Unless they changed their policy recently, dogs are not allowed on. Years back I flew Delta with my little dog, although if you fly out of Islip with Delta, I don't think there is a direct flight.

I don't think they allow pets.
I know Jetblue definitely does (but it's $200 - and must be booked in advance since there's a limit on how many pets can be brought on each flight).
Virgin America also allows pets - I think it's $200 too, and you need to bring vaccination records.

A neighbor of mine always take their dachshund to Florida. I thought it was with Southwest. The dog has to be 15 lbs or less, in a carrier and under the seat. They said she does great- not a peep, no meds either.

I used to watch that show Airline which was based on SW travel. I was an episode where a passenger claimed they were told they could bring an animal/creature (not a cat or dog, something else but I can't remember) on the plane and the entire ground crew said there is no way b/c they don't allow animals in the cabins.
I have seen pets on Spirit and I think Northwest.

No pets on Southwest- unless it's a service animal (with documentation).
