Has anyone ever used Merry Maids or Molly Maid?
We need to have our house deep cleaned before renting it, so I'm looking for recommendations. Top to bottom! Willing to spend a little more for a really good job. Thanks!

I used Merry Maids when we moved in this house 4 yrs ago and i HATED them. I was ok with the price until they came and everything I asked them to do was extra ONTOP of the price the quoted me.
Also the were SO rude (and I am SOOO nice ) They got annoyed with everything I asked them.
For instance...we were moving in that weekend and I wanted to fridge cleaned. There was not one thing in it (obviously bc we didnt live there yet) and she told me thats "extra".
They were a waste of money IMO.

I bought a groupon for Molly Maid of Massapequa and they $ucked. Streaks left on mirrors and microwave, sink still had stains, didn't vacuum under furniture--it was almost a joke. Plus, I paid for 2 hours, and they started wrapping up 1 1/4 in. They tried to BS me by saying it takes them 45 minutes to pack up. Even the guy on the phone when I made the appointment was obnoxious.
You're better off searching old posts and/or getting a rec from someone on here.

this is totally off topic but i hate merry maids because of those loud colored cars they drive with the giant pink writing! idk about you but i don't need the entire neighborhood to know i need someone to help me clean!

according to my sister "They came into my house and used smelly rags on everything". She then cleaned her entire house after they left.

the best rec i can make for a cleaning person is someone that i got from here -- more than one fellow LIFer recommended Yolanda to me. she is excellent... i find her prices competitive and reasonable - she is willing to bargain, and she does a PHENOMENAL job. absolutely unbelievable - she is fantastic!!! she comes with a crew, she is just the best. i could not believe how sparkling everything was. she gets my absolute best recommendation -- english is her second language so she might be a bit hard to understand but she definitely understands everything you are saying so no worries there. she's great!

merry maids is expensive., i use a lady who has her own business with a couple of crews. they usually sebnd like 3 or 4 people to your house. they cleaned my house when i moved in and then now come every 2 weeks to make it easier for me.. theyre very reasonable. its anas cleaning service i think its called.. the number is 516-830-0280. tell her michelle sent you from massapequa..
