Has anyone flipped a one sided pillow top mattress?
Our mattress is 2.5 years old and is terrrrrrrrible. We've rotated it but there are indents of our bodies that won't come out. My husband wants to flip it but the pillow top is only on one side so you aren't supposed to be able to flip it. Has anyone done this? What's the bottom of it like? My concern is we will flip our mattress (which will be a pain to do bc it's a kind size) and the bottom won't be cushioned at all.

I don't think you can. I don't remember exactly, but I think you can feel the springs and stuff. There is no padding.

Ugh. That's what I was afraid of. My husband still wants to try and flip it though. Ugh what a pain this mattress is (literally and figuratively!)

We had the same issue, and we tried flipping it and it was PAINFUL. our warranty didn't cover it, because the indent wasn't deep enough

Anything over a 1.5in depression ( 3/4 for a memory foam) is a mfg defect and is covered under the 10 year warranty. Call the store you bought this from, and have them send out a tech to measure.
Eta- any stains, rips or missing law tags void the warranty

Re: Has anyone flipped a one sided pillow top mattress?
Most mattresses now are only one sided, they are not finished on the ottom side as far as padding.
When we bought our new mattress, the salesman told us to put a waterproof mattress pad on, then a regular mattress pad on top of that. That will prevent any staining.
It doesn't hurt to get a service rep in to measure the indents to find out if you can get a replacement or at least credit towards a new one.
