Has anyone forgotten where they put their wedding rings?
It'll turn up...dh found his in the silverware drawer 3 yrs after losing his!

My mom found hers in her purse months after she lost them. She took them off to have an MRI and couldn't remember where she put them we looked for days! Finally after she stopped looking they turned up!

Yes, right at this time. I have to get more organized. That day I only wore my wedding band. I told DH to hold off on putting the cat litter outside cause if that's the last resort I will have to sift through it. Good luck to you with finding it.

This is going to make me sound like a nut case but it worked for me. I had something similar happen to me. Left my wedding band and engagement ring on my kitchen counter (they were ALWAYS together either on me or off) and I lost my engagement ring.
I looked everywhere, garbage many times, took the kitchen drain apart. I mentioned it at the hair salon and this woman that sells jewelry at the front gave me this St. Anthony prayer to recite with the following instructions:
Take a glass out of the cabinet and place it on the counter. Turn it upside down. Turn it again if necessary so it is upside down. Say this prayer. Wear the card close to your skin. For women, maybe in your bra. Don't think about the lost object, it'll turn up. At night repeat the prayer.
As you can see it's old and tattered. She said she had it for years and wore it on her body during all her pregnancies for good health. I thought she was insane giving me this especially since I'm not a real religious person.
I came home, told my husband about it. He said recite it. I did. I was standing in the kitchen, feet from where I had last seen the rings together. As I'm reading, my DH reached into the wicker basket we throw mail in and pulled out my ring!!!! I asked him what made him do that?!?!? He had no idea. He said he was just drawn to it while I reading. We truly "felt" St. Anthony in that moment. It was indescribable.
We figured my toddler son had picked it up and placed/threw it in the basket and it landed in an old bill. I know I looked through that basket at least a dozen times but never thought to look in each envelope. Chances are I never would've found it. I probably just would've moved the old mail into our filing cabinet and been done with it.

OMG this is soooo me! I've never lost my rings but my mother gave me her ring that I made a necklace out of and it's been gone for 2 years. I KNOW I put it in a safe place but have no idea where :(. Another time I had $1500 that I had collected to buy a gift. I hid it and had no idea where!!! Found it months later lol. I hope you find them

Thank you! I look in each room through everything and then DH tears those rooms apart. On top of losing them, the frustration of my mind not knowing. Tomorrow will be two weeks I did this, but a week of realizing, as I was away after I hid them and realized when I looked for them when I came home. I still have the garbage from before I left for trip, that I will go through the third and last time to rule that out for peace of mind before I put it to curb.

You may have done it already..couple of times I misplaced earrings and bracelets, I found them behind the dresser, under the bed, or behind night stands. Hope you find it soon!

Definitely say the prayer, it has worked for my family forever. Also, I know this may sound crazy but what about getting hypnotized? Let them take you back to that day and see if your subconscious can remember where you put them. It's worth a shot, ya know?

Has anyone forgotten where they put their wedding rings?
How about the clothes that you were wearing that day? Maybe you slipped them into a pocket when you moved them from the closet and never actually did it? Definitely not on the same level but I just came across my tweezers that I had been searching for for months in the pocket of my bathrobe. The bathrobe I hardly ever wear. I must have slipped in there one random day I had on my robe and never thought to look there.

I have hidden them in shoes and checked everyone, boots, etc about 10 times. I never take them off in car. I know I had them here and wanted to hide them before my trip. I still have the garbage from then (can't part with it until I go through it the third time). The only other way they could have left my house is if I mistakenly put them in my luggage while packing and then somebody would have had to have stolen it at the airport. I got to Islip an hour before flight left, so only a short amount of time my bag was alone. Other than that, they have to be here.
Thank you all for your kindness and helpfulness. I so appreciate it. I never thought I could get this devastated over losing them.

Ok go back to this moment right here. Close your eyes and envision yourself standing in your closet and putting the ring in your shirt pocket, then taking it out and walking........
Where did you go right after you walked out of the closet? Or the first memory you have walking out of the closet?

Where did you go right after you walked out of the closet? Or the first memory you have walking out of the closet?
I've tried this. Can't seem to remember what else I did other than pack, go on computer. Meanwhile I remember the next day like it was an hour ago. This is such a nightmare.
