I found good fares to Myrtle on Spirit - I paid the $9 trial fee for the $9 fare club and got a round trip ticket for $86 including taxes (I am leaving on a Monday in May and coming back on the following Wednesday).

The only downside is that they charge you to check luggage so that adds on to the price of the ticket.

Sign up on their website for sales. They have cheap rates at certain times but they are usually for Tuesdays or Wednesdays. Recently they have been doing 48 off for 48 hours.

Also - try looking into flying to Florence, SC - it's not that far from Myrtle Beach and sometimes it's cheaper.

Just booked my flights on Spirit. Heading down for my brother-in-laws wedding on Aug 16 thru Aug 19. The prices went up since I last checked a week ago, so I wanted to lock in rates.

Did you look at Spirits flights from Islip? They may be cheaper
