Has anyone gone to see this house in Seaford? UPDATED - I saw it!
Seaford
So we saw the house today and it was really nice. The block and neighborhood was also nice. Everything was just like it was pictured. The deal breaker was the small bedrooms. All four bedrooms were on the small side and there was no "bigger" master bedroom. I would say the biggest bedroom was probably 11x11.
Great house though!

i havnt seen it, but it looks like its in great shape, and location looks like a great midblock, street, and it does not look like its a cut through block at all. I would defin say its worth looking at. Im sure you can get them down in price too.

I emailed the realtor to see if it's still available. I wonder if it floods - looks close to the water...

I live around the block-the block is nice-it isnt off Merrick Road and it is not a cut through street-I know it was reduced-it was over 500,000, you should check it out :)

just an FYI to everyone since not many people realize it...if you have a realtor that you like to work with that you get along with, you dont have to always call the listing agent on each house. that realtor that you like can take you to see ANY house on the MLS.

My Dad keeps his boat down in that area and I have never seen those blocks so close to merrick road ever have a problem. It looks like a great house for that price-good luck! We had fmaily friends that lived on the next block Tuscala, its right near the police precinct and a safe area.

Yes I saw this house during an open house w/my brother but only 3 bedrooms ( he wants 4 ) but he really thought about this one... oh & the kitchen is a bit outdated but definite potential. PS.. if you need a good Buyer's Realtor let me know I could give you here name..

Thanks! I figured the kitchen would have to be re-done, but the updated bathrooms are a plus. Plus at that price, I would love to re-do the kitchen and make it exactly how I want. Thanks for responding!

Fingers double XXX - and I think it's been for sale for a while I saw it during I think June - but definitely a new kitchen with all of the high tech stuff...

I live 2 blocks from here and our street does not flood, although we do have to maintain flood insurance.
Nice area and the house looks like it is in really good shape.
I think the "duck" in the pool is one of those floating chlorine holders. We had a rubber ducky one at my parent's house.

That is a great block I know people that I grew up with that live on that block. It isn't a cut through block because you can't to it from main streets you have to cut over and I know they have block parties.
