Has anyone had Dr B treat immune issues but did the IUI or IVF with a different RE?

I think I remember hearing that this was a possibility?
I've been on a break from TTC ... I would be considering this "split" treatment approach because I want to use my insurance benefits for the IUI or IVF but don't know any other doctors on LI who treat the immune factors.
Has anyone done this? Considering doing it?

Or are there other RE practices on LI that are as knowledgable about the immune issues as Dr B is (and accept insurance)?

I did this, but did my immune treatments were done long distance with a Dr from Chicago-Dr Kwak-Kim who studied with dr. Beer. My regular IVF Dr was Dr Ruman at RMA. I had twins through m 1st IVF. Dr Kwak-Kim works at Rosalind Franklin and she was covered by my insurance. We just had to pay for hotel and airfare to midway for the consult. After that we did everythin through phone/email.

Not a Dr. B patient but I frequent another board where several women do just this. They go to him as their Reproductive Immunologist. You might want to take a look at the Reproductive Immunology Group on yahoo. I think that if you are on LI..Dr. B is the person that you would want to go to for these issues.

Dr. B's cost is $1250 and he monitors all of the immune profile, I think if you have OON coverage the fee would be smaller.

I have done this. It worked totally fine.
