Has anyone have this happened to them?
I am just 25 weeks. I was on the train this morning going to work. I had taken a nap and when I woke up I got really nauseous, Dripping sweat and blurry vision. I quickly drank water and after 5 minutes it went away. It was so scary!! I called my doctor and he told me he thinks my pressure dropped and if it happens again I should come right in and drink plenty of fluids.

I would think blood pressure! That has happened to me, I believe I was a little further along and I was working with a student consulting and I got really dizzy, nauseous and felt like I was going to pass out and was sweating. It was my blood pressure. Along with that I wasn’t eating enough (twins) from then on I had to add in Gatorade daily, increase my water and food intake

I have been drinking a ton today-I think it was my pressure too. Very scary!!! I am just praying it doesn't happen again!

I had a few instances like this later in my first pregnancy. There first time was the worst, I got nauseous, then blurry vision and eventually it was like looking through a kaleidoscope. I went to the Dr and my bp was really high. Thankfully laying on my side and drinking water brought it down. They also had me do a 24 hour urine collection which was fine. It happened a few more times but thankfully it never turned into an issue and I carried to 42 weeks. I had some high pressure readings after delivering too with no symptoms at all but never needed meds. With my second I never had any issues but I delivered earlier so who knows if I'd gone to term. I had a few high readings after delivering though just like with my first.

It could also be low blood sugar. Had you eaten at all yet before this happened?

Re: Has anyone have this happened to them?
When I was pregnant I always carried a bottle of water, something with sugar (candy or juice), and something to eat (like a granola bar). I got lightheaded a lot, particularly with my first and I'd be stuck standing on a hot subway car.

Yes, this happened to me when I was about 18/19 weeks with my first. All of a sudden, I got nauseous, hot, sweaty, dizzy, and saw spots. I was at work and thankfully, a nurse was nearby and got me lying down and drinking. My doctor also thought it was low blood pressure or blood sugar. Thankfully, it didn't happen again to me. I can related with how scary it is!
